Award Winning Staff
Culloden House is delighted to announce that Craig Munro, Commis Chef, succesfully completed an amazing year by collecting the award for "Most Outstanding Young Person of the Year" at the 2004 Inverness Tourism Awards.
Craigs contribution to the hospitality industry has seen him take part in youth initiatives such as Springboards FutureChef which is a national initiative supported by celebrity chef Brian Turner to introduce School children into the catering industry at an early age.
Craig also took part as a member of the Junior Scottish Culinary team at the World Culinary Olympics held in Germany in October and returned with 3 silver medals and helped the Junior Team secure an impressive World ranking of 7th out of 32 countries. Apart from the above Craig successfully worked along side Culloden Houes's Executive Chef, Michael Simpson, and reviewed our Breakfast menu which resulted in the implementation of homemade Muesli, jams, marmalades and sausages. Craigs efforts were rewarded when Culloden House was voted "Best Scottish Breakfast 2004" by HotelreviewScotland. |
